Do I need to make a reservation for a tour?
A reservation is required, as Volcanic Slopes Vineyards is a boutique winery with only exclusive wine tasting experience, offering a safe, relaxing and intimate experience for all our guests. The availability varies daily/seasonally and we recommend you check our booking system per tour.

How much time does it take to do a wine tasting?
You may allow approximately 1 hour and a half, for your visit at Volcanic Slopes Vineyards.

Can I bring my kids to the winery?
Well behaved kids are always welcome at Volcani Slopes Vineyards, but need to be closely attended to by parents at all times. We do not have a playground or offer activities for children, so please consider bringing quiet activities to keep them entertained. Children are allowed in the winery and on our tours. Anyone under the age of 18 cannot drink, unless there is a parent’s consent.

Can I bring my pet to the winery?
Certified service animals are welcome on all areas.
In any other case, leashed pets are welcome on the property on all outside areas such as the parking and the patio. When you bring your pet, you should always respect others, which include keeping your dog leashed and under your control at all times. Please note that dogs or other are still not allowed in the tasting room and on winery tours.

Where can I park my car, when visiting the winery?
There is a parking area just in front of the entrance of our winery.
There is no fee for the parking and you cannot reserve a parking position.

Are your facilities handicapped accessible?
Yes. Our winery is fully accessible by a wheel chair.

Do you have a restaurant on-site?
We do not have a restaurant on-site. All wine tasting experiences include bites, with items like charcuterie, cheese and crackers etc, varying among the different tasting options. There are a number of excellent restaurants nearby our winery or in different areas of the islands as well.

Is smoking allowed at Estate Argyros?
Volcanic Slopes Vineyards is a smoke-free property, including the use of e-cigarettes and vapes. No Smoking is allowed inside, outside or in the vineyards and productions area, including the use of e-cigarettes and vapes. Smoking is only in the parking area and in a specific area outside the winery without disturbing others tasting.

Do you ship wine?
Yes. We do ship wine internationally by UPS when purchase is done at the winery. Shipping requirements and prices vary from country to country and they are all set by UPS.

Can I travel with wines?
At the winery there are wine skins available for sale. Wine skin is a special packaging that protects the bottles in your suitcase and is also accepted by all airlines.
The number of bottles that you can carry back home is limited by the rules and regulations of the airlines and of customs of each country.

Do you offer wine by the glass and do we need a reservation for that?
All our visits are private therefore a booking is mandatory, although you can always drop by for a glass of wine at the courtyard without reservation.
If you know beforehand the time and date of your visit we would appreciate an earlier notice.

Can I buy a bottle of wine and enjoy it in the tasting room?
You can enjoy Pure Santorini current vintage only by the glass in our courtyard surrounded by our botanical garden.
The indoor area is available only if there is no tasting reservation at the time.

What should I expect to see on a tour?
During your visit you will be able to wander in an 18th century cave Canava, which hosts our winery today, Volcanic Slopes Vineyards.
You will learn about the traditional method of winemaking used in the past on Santorini and the up-to-date techniques we use to produce our wine, Pure.
In addition you will visit a vineyard on the site and learn about the special volcanic Santorini environment, the microclimate, the pruning technics and the main varieties.
